How to Read your Lunar Calendar

The calendar shows the moon phases for the year 2019. The exact dates for the phases are given in Eastern American Standard Time (New York Time) and therefore can differ by a day at the place where you live.

Each calendar comes with a separate sheet that indicates instructions for reading. There are symbols for the phases of the moon. The symbols for Full, New, and Half moons are marked with a date. Trace each symbol up to the date above it to see when that moon phase happens in the month. Each hash mark on the inner ring symbolizes one day. Hash marks with dots over them are Sundays.

The second to outer ring is a zodiac key that shows the dates of western astrology sun signs. There are symbols on the calendar for specials dates.

Larger circle for Full Moon: Supermoon

Snowflake - Winter Solstice
