Over the Rainbow Candle
Queer Identities are as diverse as they are sacred. Many Pagan traditions throughout the world have recognized queer love, what is now called transgender, and non-binary gender identities long before monotheism and other elements forced many cultures to reject this value. The Queer Pride Empowerment Candles seeks to reclaim and re-enchant users to their inner sanctity.
Over the Rainbow - scented with passionfruit and rose, and sprinkled with green carnations and rose petals, Over the Rainbow honors the history of male identifying persons who share romantic and sexual love of with other men. Its intentions are imbued with passion, romance, and also deep healing. The Green Carnation was said to have been popularized by Oscar Wilde, or merely imported from France by him, as a coy nod to homosexuality, simultaneously visible but unexplained and unspoken. The candle is an homage and remembrance of all the many who sought to make a society where all people could be free to be themselves and instills that power to the user.
